Job Purpose:

To support the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of satellite communication systems and related technical infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance, service availability, and compliance with operational standards to maximize efficiency.

Key Accountabilities

Technical Operations

• Monitor satellite communication systems and technical networks in accordance with approved procedures to support 24/7 service availability.
• Perform first-level technical support activities, log and update tickets, and report system or network faults to NOC Engineers as per escalation procedures
• Assist engineers and technical teams by collecting system data, measurements, and operational information required for performance evaluation.
• Carry out routine operational checks and support preventive maintenance activities in line with maintenance schedules and instructions.
• Maintain accurate technical, operational, and shift documentation in accordance with established procedures.
• Support client and internal operational requirements by following assigned technical tasks under supervision.
• Coordinate with engineers and supervisors during fault resolution and service restoration activities.
• Monitor system alarms and alerts, take immediate first-level actions where applicable, and promptly escalate incidents to concerned engineers in case of outages.
