Current Vacancies: Senior Sales Manager

Job Purpose:

To perform sales and key account management activities in areas related to the services provided by the company and achieve the revenue objectives set by department.

Key Accountabilities

Functional Accountabilities

Sales:  Create and maintain a yearly sales plan. Meet customers and understand their full service requirement. Design, estimate cost and propose solutions based on customer requirements. Work directly with prospective customer’s technical resources to validate requirements and technical aspects. Prepare and present proposal to customers, identify new solutions within the business model which could lead to new revenue opportunities.

Revenue assurance: Assure future revenue is secured through managing customer contracts and securing revenue backlog to next years based on sales plan, by maintaining existing business, and bringing new business. Helping finance department in regards of invoicing and follow up on payments 

Business opportunities: Generate initial business cases and makes recommendations with respect to the decision process to the Manager. Assess, and process any opportunities to tender/respond to RFIs.

Customer Care: Work directly with customers to plan upgrades, review performance and resolve service issues. Provide work instruction and training to customers as and when required.  Support customers in identifying changing needs for capacity and related services, and to select the best technical configuration for meeting those needs. Working closely with engineering & operations team to analyse customer requirements and to help define service offerings, including support for the customer.

Networking & Performance: Network with assigned local business groups and establish contact with business owners to prospect. Identify and realise new market opportunities with assigned partners. Support assigned partners in both long-term endeavours and immediate connectivity requirements and ensure organization is regarded as the natural choice in each scenario.

Market Analysis: Obtain a deep understanding of the needs, transitions, and opportunities in the market, both in business and in technology domains. Implement sales plan based on Principal product information; ensure that all sales activity is in line with principal requirements and within budget.

  • Work in line with HSE policy and ensure awareness and compliance of HSE rules and regulations.

Minimum Requirements

Academic Qualification:

Minimum BSc. Degree in Business, Telecom Engineering or similar.

Work Experience

Minimum of 6 years of experience in sales/ business development of an organization out of which 3 years in Telecom industry, good experience in Enterprise Sales
