Job Purpose:

To support the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of satellite communication systems and related technical infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance, service availability, and compliance with operational standards to maximize efficiency.

Key Accountabilities

Thecnical Operations

• Monitor satellite communication systems and technical networks to ensure optimal performance and availability for 24/7 hours.
• Provide technical support and resolve tickets by identifying, troubleshooting, and responding to system and network faults, escalating issues when required and reporting critical incidents.
• Coordinate with technical teams to evaluate system performance and operational requirements.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical and operational documentation.
• Support client requirements by understanding technical needs and contributing to solution delivery when required.
• Interface with service providers, vendors, and internal stakeholders on operational and technical issues.
• Monitor system alarms and take immediate action by coordinating with concerned engineers to restore services as quickly as possible in case of outages.
• Preparing daily data report, verifying all records is maintained as required by procedure.
