SCT have received an invitation to attend the OER live event which was held in the Sheraton hotel on 29th of June, The event highlighted the digital transformation in Oman and its direct connection to Oman 2040 vision, and its impact on the national economy and on the local companies. SCT enriched the dialogue, through the participation of Engineer Ahmed Al-Ramahi, with the  positive impact of satellite communications in supporting digital transformation in Oman . He also  mentioned the AFAQ initiative, which contributed on connecting more than 1,000 rural homes to the Internet, Allowing the  initiative to  enable these homes to be part of the country’s digital transformation journey.
