Within the framework of the continuous development and updating of its programs related to surveying and geospatial information, the National Survey Authority signed at its headquarters in Beit Al-Falaj a cooperation program with the Space Communications Technologies Company. It was signed by Air Commodore Ahmed bin Saif Al Badi, President of the National Survey Authority at the Ministry of Defense, and by Engineer Salim bin Said Al Alawi, Executive Director of Space Communication Technologies
This Cooperation in the field of earth observation satellites aims to define a joint collaborative program for investment in the field of satellite images for earth observation and remote sensing, including the establishment of a ground receiving station for satellite imagery with Earth observation and its various applications to achieve homogeneity and complementarity in this field and unify efforts for both entities.
